As women engineers it’s easy to spend all our time advancing new ideas, designing the latest cool device, mentoring others, and maybe even raising kids. Being so busy means many of us neglect our health and fitness. And then, many of us brag about how we don’t have time to take care of ourselves.
Instead, we should put a priority on our health and fitness levels and set the example for others. How can we, as women, be in our top form if we aren’t taking great care of our bodies and minds? It’s impossible to get the most out of ourselves if we aren’t living a healthy lifestyle.
If we take care of our bodies, we will be repaid in so many ways. That sluggishness you feel will disappear naturally. The constant need for stimulants like caffeine will go away. Self confidence will get a boost. Mental clarity will improve.
A healthy lifestyle can be difficult to live in the beginning but once you see the results you’ll wonder why you didn’t start sooner. Start living a life focused on health and fitness today and see improvements in no time!
